by
Taren Gesell

Elle Goodall and Marcus Cook are both age-group triathletes who competed in the 2018 Ironman World Championship at Kona, both having lost significant amounts of weight on their triathlon journeys.  Marcus crossed the finish line at Kona in the final hour before the race cutoff, with a cardboard cutout of himself at 500 pounds (he now weighs less than half that weight). Meanwhile, Elle fought bullying when she was big, and talks about her new life as person with fitness as a priority.
